Looking back to when I was in Guanajuato, Mexico, where I spent two weeks studying Spanish at the fantastic Escuela Mexicana! đ« The school has beautiful classrooms, rooftop study spots, and great energy. Mornings are for studying, afternoons for exploring this magical city.
Today’s vlog is all about soaking in the charm — walking through callejones (narrow alleys), colorful houses, and lively plazas. I visit the iconic Mercado Hidalgo, a stunning iron structure designed by Gustave Eiffel’s workshop, filled with food, crafts, and life. I also pass by the majestic Teatro JuĂĄrez, peaceful Plazuela San Fernando, the romantic CallejĂłn del Beso, and the vibrant Universidad de Guanajuato. Every corner here tells a story.
Let’s get lost in the beauty of Guanajuato! đČđœ✨

đđČđœ Looking back to when I spent an unforgettable day in the colorful, historic city of Guanajuato, where I studied Spanish for two weeks at the incredible Escuela Mexicana. This school is a real gem — full of charm, with beautifully decorated classrooms, spacious study areas, and even rooftop spaces perfect for relaxing or reviewing your lessons with a view!
đ In the mornings, I focus on language immersion, improving my Spanish skills with the help of passionate teachers and fellow students from around the world. But in the afternoons… it’s time to explore!
đš Today’s adventure starts with a visit to the Museo IconogrĂĄfico del Quijote — a truly unique museum dedicated entirely to Don Quijote de la Mancha. It houses an impressive collection of over 800 artworks inspired by Cervantes' famous novel — from paintings and sculptures to engravings and ceramics. It’s a cultural treasure trove and a must-see for lovers of literature and art.
đ️ After the museum, I wander through Guanajuato’s winding alleys, picturesque plazas, and vibrant colonial architecture. This city is full of magic — from the stunning Teatro JuĂĄrez, to the legendary CallejĂłn del Beso, to the peaceful Plaza de San Fernando, there’s something charming around every corner. The colors, the people, the energy… Guanajuato never fails to surprise and inspire.

Looking back to when I was in Guanajuato, Mexico and was excited — because this day, I went back to school! đČđœđ
It was the first day of my two-week journey learning Spanish at Escuela Mexicana.
It’s been a while since I studied in a classroom, but I’m ready for the challenge.
New language, new people, and a whole new way to connect with this amazing culture.
This vlog is all about stepping out of your comfort zone and embracing something new.
Let’s do this — ¡vamos a estudiar español! đŹđ
After school, I joined a city tour organized by the school — a great way to get to know the city. Afterwards, I kept exploring on my own. Guanajuato has such a beautiful, charming vibe.
I'm already falling in love with this place.
