🌎🇲🇽 Looking back to when I spent an unforgettable day in the colorful, historic city of Guanajuato, where I studied Spanish for two weeks at the incredible Escuela Mexicana. This school is a real gem — full of charm, with beautifully decorated classrooms, spacious study areas, and even rooftop spaces perfect for relaxing or reviewing your lessons with a view!
📚 In the mornings, I focus on language immersion, improving my Spanish skills with the help of passionate teachers and fellow students from around the world. But in the afternoons… it’s time to explore!
🎨 Today’s adventure starts with a visit to the Museo Iconográfico del Quijote — a truly unique museum dedicated entirely to Don Quijote de la Mancha. It houses an impressive collection of over 800 artworks inspired by Cervantes' famous novel — from paintings and sculptures to engravings and ceramics. It’s a cultural treasure trove and a must-see for lovers of literature and art.
🏙️ After the museum, I wander through Guanajuato’s winding alleys, picturesque plazas, and vibrant colonial architecture. This city is full of magic — from the stunning Teatro Juárez, to the legendary Callejón del Beso, to the peaceful Plaza de San Fernando, there’s something charming around every corner. The colors, the people, the energy… Guanajuato never fails to surprise and inspire.
