Join me as I travel from Guadalajara, Mexico’s 8th largest city, to Mérida – the White City of Yucatán!
✈️ After leaving Hotel Emperador, I take a flight with Viva Airbus and arrive just in time for lunch at Elena Vales Panadería, a charming bakery filled with vintage bread machines.
I check in at Hotel Mucuy, a cozy stay with a small pool right outside my room – the perfect place to relax. Then it’s time to explore Mérida’s historic center!
🇲🇽 I visit the grand Mérida Cathedral, browse outdoor market stalls and explore a bustling indoor market. At Pasaje de la Revolución, I enjoy street musicians playing under the impressive high blue archway.
In the evening, I start planning my adventures across the Yucatán Peninsula. This city is full of charm, culture, and vibrant life – and this is just the beginning!
