Today I planned a chill day at Hotel Mucuy, but things took an exciting turn. I rented a scooter from Scooter Rentals Merida (Merida-up.com) and headed to Uxmal, one of the most impressive Maya ruins in Yucatan.
The site was much grander than I imagined, with massive pyramids, historic ball courts, and breathtaking ancient architecture. 🏛️
On the way back, drama struck – I ran out of gas on my scooter! 😱 I had to walk 2 km on the main road before finding a gas station. Eventually, I made it back safely and celebrated with a relaxing tequila. 🍹
